Kenwood's KSC-SW1 subwoofer may be just what you need if you're looking for more bass, but don't have space for a conventional sub box or powered sub. This compact sub features an amplifier that pushes 75 watts RMS to a 6-1/2" woofer, with a 6-1/2" passive radiator built in for good measure. It's all housed in a rugged, low-profile enclosure that will fit just about anywhere. The passive radiator technology is one of the keys to the surprisingly big sound of the KSC-SW1. Air pressure from the powered woofer moves the unpowered 6-1/2" radiator, augmenting the bass response.

| Excellent For My Purpose by Len E. from Somerdale, NJ USA on Nov 6, 2005 |

| I recently bought and installed this 'woofer' in my Miata and the install went very well. All parts that are needed for a basic installation were in the box and although I'm no mechanic the gear went in within 30 mins. The sound, for a small area such as a Miata is excellent. It won't blow your doors off, but will fill out your music very nicely. The only 'problem' I had was figuring out exactly what the instructions meant with regard to wiring the yellow power cord. I found this a bit confusing, but worked it out. Overall, I would recommend the KSC-SW1 to anyone with a smaller vehicle. | |

| Excellent product. Was suprised on the bass you get out of a small box such as this. I would definetly tell others to get this if they have limited space. Don't expect window shacking bass but gives you just enough punch to fill in that void that most stock systems have. | |

| Nice addition to my Toyota Matrix by a member from Galveston, TX on Nov 13, 2006 |

| Addition to my Kenwood head, 4 Infinty door speakers and 4 x 100 Pioneer Amp. Unable to mount under driver seat as planned but the sound is just right for my small space and adds a good bass to compliment my system. Thinking of adding another under the back seat of my F-150 .A well thought out product and I recommend. | |

| Awesome sound! by a member from Alabama on Jun 8, 2006 |

| I was very pleased. I just had this installed last night into my 1987 911 cabriolet. It is such an improvement that i can put it into words. It is like i upgraded the entire system, not just adding a sub. Anyhow, if you are looking for a full, rich sound, and are limited on space, this is a good option. I put mine under the passenger's seat. | |

| I installed this unit on a 1995 ford f-150 extended cab, under the front midle seat the unit fits perfect, the sound is great, the only bad thing about it is that I paid too much for it at crutchfield. | |

| this unit rocks! Keep in mind its not for ghetto blasting rap music but excellent choice if your preference is hard rock/ classic rock. made my music come alive and feel more realistic. I highly recommend this unit! Mounted unit in my 1969 Z-28 Camaro (under rear seat) Im still amazed at the output of this small yet efficient subwoofer. | |
